- We begin with a meeting where needs and expectations are outlined. It is here that I employ the power of listening to get a real sense of your issues. In this way, I’m a bit like a data therapist, if this could ever be deemed a legitimate thing. Once I know your problems like my own, I get to work.
- Project needs vary, so getting to work comes in various forms. For one client, this may mean constructing a survey and determining ways to reach the best respondents. For another, getting to work may mean cleaning and analyzing data already collected. Regardless of what your project needs, I’m here to get it done.
- In order to remain efficient and flexible, I keep just the right amount of communication with you. For some clients, this comes in the form of periodic updates. For others, this means communicating only when absolutely necessary. I get it: you’re a busy professional. I am too! Either way, you can be sure that I am listening to you and will adapt to any changes needed.
- Once all elements, such as data cleaning, analysis, and adaptation are complete, report writing begins. Some clients prefer a brief synopsis of the findings to an academic-grade report. Others, such as doctoral students, need a dissertation-companion report that gets them over the finish line of one of their greatest achievements.
- So, you’ve got the report and it’s relatively easy to understand and digest, but you still have questions. I’m here for that too. I always make sure that my clients are in the know. I don’t leave them wondering, “What does this part mean?” You’ll know what it means and will likely understand why it’s all there. In other words, my process doesn’t end with a report dropped in your lap.
